Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Case Support Officer

Temporary – 12 Months

Stockport Homes is committed to tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB) on it’s estates and working to challenge unacceptable behaviour and bring about real changes, without having to take legal action wherever possible.

The exciting opportunity of an ASB Case Support Officer role within the ASB team has arisen to work with customers to ensure they feel supported to take positive action to address ASB in their neighbourhood and improve the overall quality of life for people on estates.

Enthusiastic and dedicated you should have the ability to:

Use a range of IT packages including ASB case management system and Microsoft packages

Carry out thorough and systematic investigations, including interviews, install surveillance equipment and to provide accurate and thorough written, and verbal, reports, provide witness statements and carry out systematic investigations, including interviews with customers

Organise and maintain effective administrative systems to ensure that investigations are progressed as effectively and speedily as possible and that information relating to cases are available and auditable

Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Build effective relationships with a wide range of agencies and partners

Deal sensitively with complex problems and issues raised

Demonstrate good organisation and time management skills

In addition, the post holder should possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
