This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Stockport Homes Group on an 18-month apprenticeship within the Housing Options Team.

As a Housing Options Apprentice you would support the Team in delivery of an award-winning homelessness and advice service.  With a focus on preventing homelessness and helping people access settled accommodation, you would be involved in a range of activities from providing advice to customers through to helping arrange meetings and maintaining accurate records.

As well as gaining a wealth of experience and interpersonal skills, you would also be supported to obtain a housing qualification with a project on a related area of work.

You will need to be very customer focussed, have good written and verbal communication skills and a real interest in supporting people who are often in difficult situations.  The ability to undertake a course of study is essential, but a positive, organised approach is more important that formal qualifications.
