During a period of unprecedented and exciting growth across our award-winning Group, we are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to lead Stockport Homes Group in the design, management and implementation of our new projects within our Phoenix & Digital Programme.   

The successful Project Manager will have highly developed knowledge and experience in techniques for planning, delivering, monitoring, and controlling Projects, with demonstrable experience of setting up Project Management governance. With strong influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills, you will have proven ability to work at a pace and experience of delivering successful business transformation projects / programmes.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, initially this role will be focused upon projects within the Carecall Concierge service. This fast-paced, 24hr service area requires dedicated Project Management support to help it undertake several major projects under the 'Digital Enabled Living’ Programme - as well as supporting the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery project and future developments in this service area, linked to new business. 

To help candidates assess their suitability for this role, below is an idea of the core projects the PM will be required to lead on:-

  • Project Managing Carecall’s ‘Digital switch over’ from Analogue to IP – This is a high value, large scale project which will require a dedicated project team who will report to the PM    

  • Smart home / assistive technology projects within the Group, to Digitally enable our assets to ensure people can age well at home            

  • Support the ‘Technology Enabled Living’ working group to deliver on aims set out in the ‘All Age Living’ prospectus

  • Support the re-procurement and re-design of the Carecall Systems to truly embed digital end-to-end and enable remote working

  • Support the development of a Business Continuity and Disaster recovery solution for SHG’s 24/7 operations.

This role will ensure that the company continues to be innovative and at the forefront of cutting-edge transformation and change. You will be responsible for the overall direction and coordination of projects and work streams within the Programme, providing expertise, advice, and support, whilst also ensuring that timely reports and information are produced to enable effective decision making.
