We’re currently recruiting a Customer Liaison Officer to assist and promote the development and provision of high-quality customer involvement throughout, to provide advice and casework support to elderly, vulnerable and disabled clients who wish to undertake repairs, improvements and adaptations to their homes.

 

As a key member of the Home Improvement Agency Team, you’ll provide support and assistance to the Project Leader and Surveyors as part of a team. Taking the lead in providing advice and support to residents/customers who wish to undertake adaptations to their homes, you’ll assist in finding public or private funding. Visiting clients in their homes to advise them of the financial help available including grants, and you’ll help them obtain the aid and to support clients through the benefits system and ensure that the client understands and is kept informed of all the procedures and practises involved with their particular case.

 

With experience of working in a housing or health related field, you’ll be great at communicating with a range of customers by phone and in their home, preferably within a housing or disabled adaptation related environment. You must have a strong background of investigating, resolving and responding to customer complaints both in writing and verbally and you will be able to manage challenging or confrontational situations with customers. Further to this good IT abilities are essential including using Microsoft packages.

 

Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence with access to a car for work purposes.
