We’re currently recruiting an Employment Officer to be part of the Employment & Training Team. You will offer a comprehensive, bespoke service to customers addressing all areas of employment advice and guidance.

As a key part of the role, you will have knowledge and experience of supporting, assessing and planning employment, training, education, volunteering and work placement opportunities.    

You will be required to conduct regular interventions which provide professional advice and guidance to empower customers to make positive changes to their lives.  

Our ideal candidate will have / be able to:    

  • Provide employment advice, information and guidance to customers and colleagues   

  • Experience of maintaining and developing excellent working relationships with essential partners and local services   

  • Maintain quality, comprehensive, real time case management records which monitor customer progression and identify opportunities   

  • Experience of working on ESF or Employability related contracts and services   

  • Detailed experience of creating quality CV’s, Application forms, Cover letters and preparing candidates for interview   

  • The ability to work to time scales, be organised and meet deadlines while managing conflicting priorities
